and editor by day, screenwriter by night - Mark Roush crosses
into unparalleled
worlds in both occupations. Residing in the Shanghai city of Portland,
Oregon - he is consistently developing new scripts and feature film
projects for his development company Black Spot Films.
Mark is also an award winning director and editor who has directed and edited dozens of projects for clients such as Autodesk, Intel, Black & Decker, Nike, The Disney Channel, VH1, Xerox, Char-Broil, Hewlett Packard, Debt-Free, Weiden & Kennedy, Euro RSCG, Wordsmith Communications, Wired.MD, Studio 22 Designs, The University of Oregon, NBC, ABC, WGBH Boston and many others.
Optioning
his most recent screenplay to Canadian company Industry Works, Mark is also knee-deep in penning
two other scripts, "Kids Across the Creek" and "Hummel
P.I." while his short film, Storage,
is on the 2007 festival circuit. Black
Spot Films in 2007 partnered up with Wasteland Films for the production of a new webisode series entitled, "Lady Wasteland". Currently the series has been front page featured on several of the top ten video file sharing sites such as Veoh, Crackle and DailyMotion and has accrued over 550,000 hits since it's launch last November 2007.
